4-H Nepal (Head, Hearts, Hands and Health) organized two day’s conference on (4th, 5th July 2016) at auditorium Hall, Department of Agriculture, Hariharbhawn, Pulchowk. First day 4th July, inauguration ceremony was chaired by Mr. Lok Raj Awasti, Chairperson of 4H, Nepal whereas Chief Guest was Honorable Vice President Mr. Nanda Bahadur Pun and Special Guests were Honorable Minister of Agriculture Mr. Hari Bol Gajurel and His Excellency Yaron Mayer, Ambassador of Israel to Nepal.
Along with Diplomats, Representatives of Nepal Government Agencies, Agricultural Experts, Dignitaries from Civil Societies, Agriculture Students, Youth Representative from Political Parties, Members of Parliaments from different Political Parties and selected 150 delegates from Agriculture students, Agro-entrepreneur as well as Farmers. 4-H Nepal alumni Ms. Asmita Khadka had covered the M.C. of inaugural symposium to discourse the main objective of organizing Agro-conference.
This is the first National Conference ever organized in our country. As all of you know that our country is based on Agriculture. It is that sector which will make us prosperous. So the youth of these days business lies on this field.
I Hope that our State will keep this agenda in priority for its modification and development for its implementation. Today Vice President and Agriculture Minister have taken part and will make this agenda a cornerstone and change into revolution. Everybody has to think that after the Agricultural Revolution then state would be prosperous, this work is possible through today’s youth.
The second day of this program was held in the same place i.e., Auditorium Hall, Department of Agriculture, Hariharbhawn, Pulchowk on 5th July 2016. This was held among the selected Experienced Youth Agricultural Entrepreneurs, Agricultural Literates, Information Technology (Agricultural) Professionals, Youth farmers, Students from Agriculture, Business Persons from this sectors and Well-wishers of this sector.
At the ending day was moderate by Mr. Chirinjibi Bhattarai, where five sessions were separated into different topic. The main objective of the second day program was sharing the experiences and success stories among the participants taking out the insights from each other for the pavement of future enhancement in entrepreneurship in Agricultural Sector.
Besides this the participants also conveyed the message of research conduction and record keeping before doing the Agro business to get desired result. In addition to this, the striking and interesting phenomenon of this program was use of Information Technology, which can help to foster Agriculture information in the remote part of our country, like Nepal as well as naïve farmer of Agriculture.
